Barry A. Peterson, Managing Partner of NorthCreek Mezzanine Fund I, L.P. NorthCreek makes creatively structured mezzanine and senior debt investments in lower middle market companies with revenues between $5 and $150 million with investment size ranging from $1 million to $8 million. Transactions include leveraged acquisitions, recapitalizations, growth/expansion, buyout and balance sheet re-positioning or senior deleveraging. Barry has over 21 years of experience in Asset Based-Commercial Lending, Technology, and Mezzanine Finance Lending plus 4 years of industry management experience at American Louver Company. Barry spent 10 years with Continental Bank and 8 years at Provident Bank serving as COO of the Commercial Products Group.
Christopher Caniff, Senior Managing Director of Periculum Capital Company, LLC. Founded in 1998, Periculum is a leading Midwestern investment and merchant banking firm, serving the corporate finance needs of middle market companies by providing M&A advisory and corporate finance/capital markets services. Services include sell side representation to strategic and financial buyers, senior and subordinated debt placements, and equity placements as well as M&A and corporate finance services for companies experiencing balance sheet and/or earnings stress. Mr. Caniff began his career in corporate banking working for NBD First Chicago, Bank One, and Provident Bank. Prior to joining Periculum, Mr. Caniff was a Managing Member and founder of a private equity fund.
Fritz Schutte, Director of Periculum Capital Company, LLC, with a focus on debt placement and capital raising activities as he assists clients with capital structure and financing related projects. Mr. Schutte started his career in commercial banking with Bank One and later Suntrust. He later became the Assistant Treasurer of Central States Enterprises, a privately held grain origination and transportation company. Prior to joining Periculum, he was the Corporate Treasurer of Wabash National Corporation, responsible for all banking and risk management activities.
