Stephen Lukinovich serves as Director of MCM’s Real Estate Services Team and is a member of the Tax Services Department. He is also the partner-in-charge of the Jeffersonville office. His practice emphasis in providing tax advisory services to real estate businesses, company transition services to small to middle market companies, and valuation services in estate and succession planning.
Mr. Heekin joined Corporex in 2007 as a finance associate. Since that time he has played a central role in all major financing transactions within the Company. With over 15 years of experience in real estate development and finance, he currently leads all Corporex Capital transactions. Mr. Heekin has been involved in over $1.5 billion of commercial real estate financing transactions including hotel, condo, industrial, office, land, and high-end sports clubs. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Commonwealth Hotels.
Katherine is an experienced economic and community development professional with a passion for connecting people and ideas, and creatively working through complex challenges. She is skilled in communication, community outreach, economic development, and marketing with a strong economics and international background, B.A. Economics, & B.A. International Studies from American University. Currently pursuing an M.B.A.
Mr Sims practices in the business representation & transactions practice group and works primarily in the federal income tax, business planning and healthcare areas. His federal tax practice involves individual, corporate, S corporation and partnership tax planning, including executive compensation and like kind exchanges. He advises clients regarding the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and represents clients on matters before the IRS and state tax agencies. Additionally, he has significant experience focusing on tax issues related to the formation and operation of tax exempt organizations.
